Russell Martineau

Mr. Russell Martineau S.C, CMT, LLM (Lond)

 

Born on February 7th 1945.

 

Mr Martineau S.C.. served as Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago for 5 years from 1981 to 1986.

 

He received his tertiary education at the University of Dundee and the London School of Economics and Political Science.

A former member of the Law Commission. He was also a tutor at the Hugh Wooding Law School and a former part-time lecturer in Commercial Law at the University of the West Indies.

 

He has served as:

He was called to the Bar of England in Wales in 1972

Senior Counsel since 1993 and is a member of the Bar in England, Barbados, Antigua, St. Lucia, Grenada, St. Vincent and Trinidad and Tobago

President of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago
